6th Annual Hewesnation Walleye Challenge

Get ready for one of the most anticipated events of the season! The 6th HewesNation Tournament is back and set to bring together passionate anglers for a competitive yet laid-back day on Lake Erie. Built around camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a shared love for fishing, this is a fun, family-friendly tournament exclusively for Hewescraft boat owners.

Event Details

Date: June 20, 2026
Blow Day (Small Craft): June 21, 2026
Location: Lake Erie – Ohio waters only (launch at location of your choice)

Weigh Station

• Erie Marine Sales 2nd Building (4209 Ivanhoe Avenue, Sheffield Lake, Ohio, 44054)

Tournament Format

• Entry Fee: $100 per boat
  • 100% payout to Top 3 + Mystery Weight (minimum payout, based on entries)
• Big Fish Pot: $40 per boat
• Start Time: 6:30 AM (Lines in at 6:30 sharp — no early fishing)
• End Time: 3:00 PM (Cooler must be in weigh line by 3 PM — NO exceptions)
• Rod Limit: 9 rods per boat
• Weigh-In: Top 5 fish per team

Rules & Guidelines

• Official tournament communication channel: VHF Channel 68
• No cooler checks — golf etiquette is expected and required
• Only bring the fish you intend to weigh
• All entry forms must be completed fully and legibly
