Erie Marine Sales is partnering up with Erie Outfitter’s for four back-to-back fishing tournaments, with the championship to follow on November 23rd. Team up or tackle the tournament solo for a shot at the grand prize.

Important: Participants must fill out the tournament waiver prior to participation.

Important: Must fish 3 of the 4 regular Tournaments to fish the Championship.

Entry Fee: $60 per captain/boat, per event. Must fish out of the same boat to qualify for Championship. Payment will be accepted online until 11PM the Saturday before each tournament, in person the Saturday before each tournament until 3pm at Erie Marine Sales or Erie Outfitter’s. Online credit card fees will apply.

Fishing Hours: 5:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)

Weigh-In: 5 biggest walleye per team

Payout: 100% payback

  1. Team Size: Unlimited, 9 rod max
  2. Limit: Weigh 5 biggest walleyes. Fish must be legally caught in compliance with state laws.
  3. Start: Lines down at 5:30 AM. Launch from any ramp/port in U.S. waters.  You can be in your fishing spot at any time, you cannot drop lines until 5:30 AM. You must be in line with your fish at noon (no later).  If you are late, you will be eligible to weigh in only one fish, and it must be weighed in by 12:30 PM at Erie Outfitters: 5400 E Lake Road, Sheffield Lake, OH 44054
  4. Scoring: Heaviest 5-fish limit wins. Tie goes to the largest single fish.
  5. Safety: All boats must meet state safety requirements.
  6. Payout-Top Three Boats: Example (per 20 boats, $1,200 pot):
      1. 1st Place – 50% ($600)
      2. 2nd Place – 30% ($360)
      3. 3rd Place – 20% ($240)
  7. Open Communication
  8. Winners are subject to lie detector tests.
  9. Must weigh in one fish in tournament to be eligible to fish the championship.
  10. To Qualify for Championship: Captain needs to fish out of the same boat for the Series to qualify for Championship. Mechanical issues will be considered on a case by case basis.
  11. Location: U.S. waters of Lake Erie and its tributaries.
  12. No Blow Days. We will fish every Sunday.  There are plenty of places to fish in inclement wind/weather in the fall.
